Our Coronation celebrations focused on King Charles’s ‘Big Help Out’ initiative. The children at Junior House took part in a carousel of six activities which focused on doing things for others, for example, the environment, our families and community. At Upper School, the girls also turned their attention to what they could do for others: they took on the role of litter-pickers in the town and they also took part in the ‘Kindness Rocks’ initiative, leaving inspirational messages on stones around the community to brighten up someone’s day.
At the end of the day, staff and pupils enjoyed a Coronation Fete organised by the High March Parents’ Association. The sun shone and everyone enjoyed the various activities on offer with the birds of prey display proving to be a big attraction!
A milestone in the life of our country and a day which the girls will remember for a long time to come!
