Qualification takes place towards the end of the Autumn Term, with the finals taking place in March of the following year. We are immensely proud of our Year 5 team, who put in amazing performances, winning gold medals in the team competition. This is a big event on our sporting calendar and High March has won medals at the National Finals in each of the last 4 years. In May, Monkton Prep, Bath, hosted the IAPS National Triathlon Championships. The event is run to strict British Triathlon rules and comprises a 200m swim (150m for Year 5), 4k cycle (2k for Year 5) and 1800m run (1200m for Year 5). This is a tough competition and High March girls have always performed well. Our results this year were the best so far with top 10 national placings for four of our competitors. Thanks to our first ever Triathlon Club Captains, for all their help and congratulations to the winner of the Triathlon Cup for her results, commitment, dedication and general attitude; she has shone at every event in 2023/24 and has gone from strength to strength. A fabulous year and thank you to everyone who took part and made the year so much fun and so successful.TRIATHLON
