Notre voyage en France
On the ferry, most girls enjoyed the ride but unfortunately some felt a bit sick. We were able to go to some of the shops on board the ferry but some girls chose to stay and play games with the rest.
The first activity was visiting a bakery. The owner of the bakery spoke in French to try and boost our vocabulary. He told us how to make bread and how to use some of the machines. Some of the girls were invited to shape the bread and we were all given a delicious pain au chocolat to try!
We all enjoyed the goat farm we visited; we held, fed and even had a go at milking the goats. We also shaped bread into the head of a goat!
We also visited the Chocolaterie Beussent where we bought lots of presents for our families. We also enjoyed walking around Le Touquet market. We were very happy to spend our pocket money!
One of our favourite evening activities was the Talent Show. Everyone had time to prepare an act with a French touch and it was very enjoyable to watch everyone’s ideas.
During our stay, we had some delicious French meals, which were served with bread which was so yummy most tables had three baskets per day!
